Today *bobbyrock becomes *Bobby-Sandhu

I've been deviant since 2004 and all these years I have been bobbyrock. Just now, I have decide to change my DA ID to my real name which is Bobby Sandhu.

This is one of the finest option provided by DA and it will change and touch many lives forever...

:iconsangiev: interviewed me here news.deviantart.com/article/62…. Cant say if i deserved to be interviewed or not, but it surely feels good. Especially the questions he asked felt good to reply too.

This might feel like self promo... i wasnt sure if i should write a journal or not, but well, in any case, now it has been done. You can throw tomatoes at me if you want.

Technically:
Jungplunga is the anima mundi of all the junk which is worth a look… which cannot be denied, which does exist, which is relevant, which is beyond …which is necessary garbage. Whether its a joke, or trivia, or simply some news, a happening, art or cartoon, you will find it here.

A Place for yea coders..!!

My good friend princepal :iconprincepal:, who is a web designer and is crazy for CSS, has launched this website which features amazing css designs. Do pay this site a visit and if you want your designs to be there, submit them and see how many wows they get. This is what the site says:

"We all know the beauty of css and enjoy its glimmers all over the web world. cssWOW with capital WOW is a collective gallery of the most incredible and the most “WOWed” css codes found over the cyber space. The only reason behind the creation of this gallery is to promote the art that is hidden in css codes, which is mostly neglected.

Everyone is welcome here to show his/her css codes, doesn’t matter if you are a freelancer or part of a company, an individual or part of a team, or maybe just a hobbiest, you are welcome to showcase your css designs over here."

Ford Mustang at Number 1 in its Category

Ford Mustang at Number Uno

Ford Mustang has reached at Number 1 in its Category on DA. This is an amazing feeling. My Vector drawing of Ford Mustang has reached at Number 1 in its category of Digital Art > Vector > Vehicles. See here. Earlier my Burning Bike Series II used be at number 1 in its category, but now it has come to number 5.

My Mustang lies there at number with p3nx's Skyline, ThEReAlWaZzAr's Gallardo, o7addict's Vespas, DesertViper's Dodge Viper and CRWPitman's Corvette. I have been in touch with p3nx, ThEReAlWaZzAr and CRWPitman for a long time now and its always fun to talk to them. In fact i was inspired to draw vector car drawings after going through CRWPitman's gallery and Mustang itself is dedicated to him explaining it all.

The incredible thing is that Mustang has reached there without receiving any DD or feature. The next 4 works have all received DDs and the only one without a DD is CRWPitman's Corvette.

My thanks to everyone who faved this work and thanks to Mr. Pitman, who inspired me to work in this art style. Thanks to ThEReAlWaZzAr and p3nx for being such good friends.

The Way Vexel CSS Journal goes

Journal Entry: Thu May 1, 2008, 9:36 AM

..........................................................................................................
HomeGalleryWebsite
..........................................................................................................

Headline

Ive had enough of the lazy angel sitting along my bedside and decided to properly execute the DA journal CSS. Besides ive been working as a Sr. Web Designer lately. Learning CSS was only going to help me. In the process i learnt HTML and xHTML and also accumulated a tons of appreciation for the coders/artists who develop exquisite beauties out of journals, esp. thespook and JesseLax.

During the process of creating a CSS journal, i made 2 designs, this is the second one. The first was too uber for my profile. This one suits my taste. I spent two days without sleeping to finish the journal off and here is the result of my labor. Its nothing out of the ordinary, but i did try to experiment with some images and div layers.

Oh and i really enjoyed drawing this design. If you haven't guessed it yet, its based on two of my cars. The header is based on the Vector portrait of Lexus Minority Report and the bottom is based on Rear Exotica VI Ferrari 575GTC. The second header below this section came out of no where, i just kept drawing and ended up with it. For sure ill be experimenting a lot in future.

Thanks to all the wonderful coders at DA for creating such an innovative experience.

The Launch of My Website

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 13, 2006, 9:23 AM

Finally i learnt the ways of Flash websites. It took me some months to do that but finally i did it. Here it is... my site: "bobbysandhulive.com" The site has been completely designed in Flash by me. The design is ofcourse a crappy one and the site itself is nothing more then a junkyard. But its my first attempt and that too without any guidance, so i hope you guys will bear it with me.

On deviantart i have only submitted the selected works of mine, but the site has almost all the works by me, including digital and 3D creations...and all that crap!

It will be great to have you guys down there. The site also has a real time Guestbook, and all my friends down here are ordered ....oh yes... ordered to sugn that guestbook.

...oh well yes, even i got into the CSS journals. Thanks a lot to duhcoolies :iconduhcoolies: for info and links, and also for the suggestions for the site.

For two years I submitted my traditional works, now you will see me crossing boundaries over to digital medium. Thanks to everyone who walked these two years with me, to those who came out to be great friends and great influences. I wont discuss my other friends in this chronicle, instead im publishing some comments… some words to remember, to live by, while I was here on devart.

On Madonna Ray of Light

:iconswaroop:Swaroop

The reason why I addded this to fav is beacuse of the astounding artwork!
Infact, I dislike MAD-onna!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:iconyaspos: yaspos

yeh its true you can make better art with multiple sorts of pencils.. cos u have a wider range of texture/color/blabla .. but if i start drawin' i always forget to switch pencils haha  therefore i only use 2B pencils. and yeah.. compared to your new work this looks crappy lol  but its madonna  ! gotta love her <3 haha

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
:iconaustin400: austin400

Sorry I'm replying so late after you wrote the comment but I agree with you, I take art classes and I noticed that although some things get better, some things are actually worse! They try to teach you new techniques when the old one worked just as well, I think art teachers should give you more freedom, teach you 3 or more ways to do artwork not just the way they prefer, art is fully dependent on freedom and if it's not granted, the student may not do as well. Thankyou for maybe reading this very long comment ^^

good point, ive never looked at it that way. I guess ive just never questioned it b/c ive taken them my whole life. I can see your point though, sometimes by taking the art classes, i forget how to just forget about rules and being open minded. On the other hand, for me i think its been good, but thats just me, im glad you've found something that works for you, thanks for your honesty!

Hey Bobby, I saw this and didn't comment right away because I wanted to give it the time it deserved. This is my
favorite piece of yours so far. The reflection in the glasses, the hair, the skin, and the lips. All so
wonderful. I especially like how, in all your pieces, you incorporate beautiful words. And thank you for the
dedication in this piece to me.

You're getting better all the time.

great drawing.. if I can be bit critical.. U could play bit more with details.. but it's ok.Just something on
shading didn't fit to me here.. I looked on it and saw it.. You have shades like you have background one thing,
than some transparent layer with shades of figure and than figure. It's best seen on shade of leg, which stands
on ground.. shade should be curved by ground... And not just after person, because there's bend, where ground
becomes to wall and shade should be curved and more on ground I think.. U know what I mean?
I hope this will help... and don't bother much...

I'm extremely humbled by your complimants my friend, but I must say that I agree. Art is all about expressing onself on the medium. That's what makes it so wonderful, the sincerety in it. Art is exactly like Iggy pop's defination of punk rock: It's music that takes up the energy, the hearst, the minds, the souls of young men who give what they have to it and give everything they have to it. And simply glancing at your work is proof enough that you put every ounce of energy and soul and heart in you while creating the piece. T

You're art is on the highest of levels :)

Yeah, I know about Nirvana's meaning... I saw Nirvana as an Indian god or goddess in my history class, don't remember too well. But yeah, I learned about that from what Cobain said...

:iconbobby-sandhu: Bobby-Sandhu Jun 2, 2005, 3:51:22 PM
Nirvana is not a god or goddess. its a concept from Budhism which is associated with MOKSHA, KARMA and MAYA. Nirvana is salvation. to achieve it one has to perform good KARMA(deeds), and stay away from MAYA(material needs) and by following the pathway of MOKSHA(satisfaction) and get to NIRVANA(salvation). Got it? =)

:iconmeow360: Meow360

someone i know did da same picture but no blood/liquid from da mouth and her chin looks blocky... but your
version, looks great! one thing of angelina is her chin, her expression n her lips... i love da way it looks! :D
however, da uppper lines of her eyes (da dark straight line on top of her eye) looks kinda weird... its too
'pencil-like' u know? LOL! perhaps shade a little or darken da area ;)

nwez keep it up! looks great :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
:iconalexrhian: AlexRhian

The photo/picture of Jolie I had assumed that this is from, because I've seen it around. Looking at it closely, the lips and blood are a shade off the rest of her skin, and there's a very thin line which looks like the mouth has been put onto the picture. Which I thought was a shame, because were it her, it would be pretty to stare at. But I ramble now. The portrait was very well done though: I like it. :nod:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
:iconejayne: ejayne

I like it, its good, but there's a little too much difference in the softness... the darker tone is too sharp sometimes, like the eyelids, eyebrows, and the blood on her top lip.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
:iconroes: roes

Beautifully drawn. Always respect for traditional painters, who have to do it without ctrl-z and a history palette : ) And...ik like your creative freedom. That's to say: I assume that the bloodpart came from your mind and she wasn't really photographed this way? :D

What a great tutorial! I just finished reading through it. I think I've read through this tutorial before and tried it with one of my drawings. Didn't turn out soft though but I think that's just practice on my part. Portrait drawing has always been something I've loved but have been frightened to try as I never could make my drawings look like the subject but this tutorial will certainly come in handy ^_^ I did learn eyes from this - although I still need practice making them look "glassy" - so hard. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to write a tutorial for those of us still learning to make realistic looking pieces. It is very much appreciated!

IMPORTANT: I have received some notes saying that some artists that I have talked about in my previous journals are not really that great as I speak for them. I want to make a point clear that my chronicles are not about "great artists" but everyone who watches me. I started from my first watcher and have been writing about them continuously and will keep writing as long as I can. For me it's a way to say thanks to them for watching me.

:bulletgreen:New year came and :icontunaferit: Tunaferit gave me a subscription for a gift. I was shocked and amazed to see that. Getting a subscription from the Pencil lord is something you don't get everyday. Im obliged by this human too good to be true. Frankly speaking im short on words and there is no way I can say what I want to say. Just a simple Thanks to tuna from the core of my heart. Let there be more artists like him.

EIGHTH CHRONICLE

:bulletgreen:Here comes the next chronicle aptly named as "The Interlude" for I rarely submitted any work in last few months. I was taking a break I guess, who knows!! I have already written about first 106 of my friends here at deviantart and now im moving ahead from 106 to 126. Im about to cross 500 and im lagging behind a lot, lets just hope I stay alive to say something for everyone.

Chaz from League City is a great friend to be around. From the times she became a friend, she keeps commenting occasionally and i wish to kill her someday with my cars and bikes (are you dead yet Chaz?). As an artist she has a large gallery and it consists the whole wide world. Recently she has been coming out with new mods for DA, which I wish I will be able to enjoy one day. Here is a very nice snap from her gallery, I have always loved it.

:iconwyreks:

Wyreks is from Poland and to me he seems a funny guy as his gallery is full of humor. One cant help but laugh at certain snap shots in his gallery. But he has these two works which contain images of various deviants from devart and it's not an easy effort for sure. Way to go man. Here see if you are one of them:

Nicole is from Canada and is a professional artist (pro as I call her). She is one of the nicest people I have met at DA. She occasionally comments but whenevr she does that, she brings an air of love with her. Its not important to be in constant connection all the time, but to be nice and she is a wonderful heart. As an artist she is no less. Her gallery is full of amazing works. Apart from her rock paintings, I have always loved this work for its great background shading:

Tornglass is a mature photographer with a complete control on his camera. His shots are fairly simple but you cant help but notice his genius as its reflected some great works. Give him a camera to observe and he can come out with amazing results for his camera sees what most of us cant. Look at this one, Im enchanted by this deviation and what a title:

:iconnirvanakenshin:
NirvanaKenshin

NirvanaKenshin is the lost boy from united States. He is a photographer of almost everything. Friends, surroundings, concerts, light bulbs… everything. Sometimes he also draws with hiss pencils. So all in all I see him as a varied artist. And from his gallery I like this work and its title:

City of Sticks

:iconrdx86:

Ranajay Das is from my country i.e. India, but lives in Singapore. But that's not the only reason that I like RDX and definitely not coz he loves to suck blades..!! I appreciate rdx as an artist for he has many shades to him: Winamp skins, photographs, poetry and traditional works. All of his works are superb quality wise. Look at this beautiful wallpaper which stayed at my desktop for quite sometime.

Olga Efimkina is for olgi from Germany. She is strictly a Traditional artist who works equally well with pencils and colors. There are 52 works in her gallery and all of them are at the par at quality level. Cherry by her stays my fave from the gallery for it shows her great skills at erasers… This work is more then what it seams.

Deja-Vu-Artist

A pencil artist (very talented), very good at human anatomy. Lets say a rather exotic gallery he has. There are exotic babes posing in some great shapes and sizes in his gallery. And then there are photographs of him with his friends. For sometime he has been away from the DA worlds, but now he has promised to come back with a bang. I like this work in his gallery which is a pencil portrait from the movie Sin City:

:iconpapuz:

Papuz is a great traditional artist with great skills in paintings and dry colors. There are a few traditional works in his gallery but they are awesome. Especially his dev id is just awesome. But to feature here I have selected this another work by him which shows his grasp at traditional skills:

after the music…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconsilwena: silwena
Another exotica artist, but with attention to details. Its Silwena and she draws in colors and such beauties flow from her hands. Her works are so soft, so delicate, so light on air. Those light shades, vibrant colors and beauties all at one place. But I have chosen rather a dark work by her and it's a beauty:
:iconcurrysiek:
currysiek
Extremely talented artist! Curry's gallery is one of the most vibrant galleries I have ever seen on DevArt. She has a special and individual style that I haven't seen in any other artist. Her works are random, with abstract backgrounds and have a comic feel to them, yet they are so realistic. Just look at this one and full view to know what I mean:
Colour Liberation
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconfuturista:
futurista

Rista is equally good at pencil and digital works. His gallery is full of illustrations which clearly project his approach towards aesthetics of art and what it stands for. Lately he has matured in pencils and just take a look at this work by him and see how detailed he can be. There is more to this artist then what meets the eye:

Lady X
Lady X by futurista
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconmorrow:
morrow
Morrow is from Porto, Portugal but is in Brussels, Belgium for he is studying there for one year. He is more of a figure artist with some abstract themes fleshed in. Most of his works are done in light shaded pencils and they surely catch the eye. Some snapshots are also there. For my fave I would go for this Mixed Media deviation which comes with bold contrasts:
Sensuality
Sensuality by morrow
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconmadette:
Madette

Madette from Philippines is a traditional artist of sorts and works in various mediums including pencils and colors. I strongly believe that she can come with outstanding results in pencil portraits for she is good at shading and her works clearly project her understanding of aesthetics of shades. Look at this one for that matter:

Lestat
lestat by Madette
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:icongwendoline:
Gwendoline
Stephi is from Germany and what a wonderful artist she is. I really find myself helpless when it comes to define her style. At times she is a simply a traditional artist and at times she is surreal in her approach and yet some of her works are pure fun. Just look at this work by her and wonder what thoughts went into the making of this…. marvel:
:iconlilweany:
Kristine Reynolds is the name and pencils are game. Wonder how I came with that line but that's what came to my mind when I ventured in her gallery. Most of her works are light hearted drawings which impart joy to the heart. This one reminds me of Cinderella:
Pretty Feet
:iconprityblusafyr:
She is 17 and is from Georgia. She is a casual drawing artist and draws for fun I believe. I really don't know her so I really cant say much about her. Just that I enjoyed going to her gallery and here is my fave- A rose for valentine:
Rose
:iconnemi23:
Nemi is Frida and is 17 years old and that's all I know about her. She is one of those artist who sit silently and watch over others. Thanks for being a friend Frida.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconsithness:
sithness

Amazing artist from Singapore. She has only seven works in her gallery but these seven works are a lot better then hundreds of works by artists like me. Attention to detail is incredible and the way she draws is just miraculous. She draws in such defining strokes that rarely her works need any shading. Just look at her works and you will see that she rarely uses shading as her medium, its those nifty touches that give her art a cult defining throne.

:bulletgreen:Christmas wishes and happy new year to the one reading. Its been a great year for me and I wish you had fun too. Well lets hope that the next year brings more of pleasures and happy memories.

:bulletgreen: Celebrated my anniversary on 8th October. Wasn't anything special, just a day. Some close friends wished me and here I say thanks to them all. See you next year.. lol.

:bulletgreen: A lot happened in last two months. Firstly I got a DD on Burning Bike Series II by :iconfixmeknow: FixMeKnow A big thanks to her for suggesting it from the core. It took me more then a month to respond to all the comments and faves I received, but im happy that I answered every single one of them. Here im thanking everyone who faved, commented and watched me in last two months. Thanks…!!

:bulletgreen:Secondly I have been tagged by :iconmeow360: :iconbairagi: and :iconlynxarc: (maybe some other friends also tagged me, but im not sure who… so extremely sorry). I never write usual journals so I didn't write a journal about my tags, instead im adding a section here in the chronicle where im listing 20 truths of my life.. I really don't think im someone in whose secrets and truths anyone would be interested at all, im writing them just for my pleasure I guess, but more then that, because I have been tagged by my friends, and for them I will:

Artistic
1. im not good at drawing figures and human anatomy.
2. I really am bad at drawing hands.
3. Draw machines and cars lot better then humans.
4. Also im a cartoonist and caricaturist…an average one.
5. Bad at watercolors…..real bad.
6. Have also been doing Collage and Clay Modeling.
7. I have around 100 works to show at devart, but I don't think I ever will put them here.
8. Im fast at drawing. It never takes me more then 6 hours to finish a work.. if I ever say that some work took me more then 6 hours, it simply means that I deliberately delayed it.
General
9. I generally get scared…. literally scared I mean. X-Files used to scare me and Blair Witch Project literally made me an insomniac.
10. Once….. I was in love, now she is married.
11. Never read newspapers, hate politics.
12. I love computer games. I review them for two magazines.
13. I love doing stage. Ive been doing it for 9 years now.
14. Once I was the lyricist and vocalist of a band "Literary Garbage".
15. Ive made some really great friends at DevArt and I mean it.
16. Im a gold medalist in MA English.

Amy, she is from LA and is a general photographer, but some of her deviations show her love for traditional works for some of her deviations are pencil works. My liking from her gallery comes from her work Lonely Wood. Just wish that I was there.

Meghan, is misskitty. Oh I know her for quite some time now.. don't i? well she is great friend and we had some great convos. In the beginning she was so casual that I felt as if I knew her from ages. She came to my gallery from ThePencilClub Mostly kitty is a photographer, but at times she comes out with pencil works and some of them are real good. Here is my fave out of her gallery. Love the expression in the eyes:

My nation mate and a graphic designer. His choice of colors are always bright and I have a feeling that he loves them. His graphics are always straight and simple, without any complex interfaces and sometimes I love that simplicity of his works. But this work of his is just so great. It's a montage of textures and the whole composition has come out great:

Catherine from VA, USA. As I never happened to have a contact with her, I really don't know about her. She uses colored pencils for her art I guess. Here is the one I like from her gallery.

God damn great terragen artist and lord of the digital works. I really like his landscapes and digital works. What strikes me is his age: he is so good at it and he is just 15. Wonder where he is gonna go in few years. Here is my fave outta his gallery. Great landscape:

Very good friend of mine. He has literally faved whole gallery of mine and it's a permanent job of mine to go and say thanks to him in his gallery. I always talk about talented artists being ignored at deviantart and he is one of them. His art really deserves a lot more appreciation. He is good at pencil and digital art both. Just go to his gallery and you will understand what I mean. It shows. Just look at this work of his and it will speak louder then my words:

Never heard from Soy so I don't know much about this artist. There are only six deviations in Soy's gallery and they are all digital works. I really wonder if the work ive mentioned down here is a photo manipulation or if it is done with proper airbrushing, if it is airbrushing and has been drawn, then soy has got real talent.

Sarcastic is one of those artists who draw for pleasure and its visible in her works as they show her jolly kind. One can also call her an artist of sorts who likes to work in lots of mediums. Here is what I liked in her galley:

For many months he hasn't visited deviantart and I wonder if he is active any longer..!! Only three deviations in his gallery and this one is what I liked. If done properly in digital medium it could come out as a good subject:

Max and me were once in good contact and we shared some convos. He is a photographer with a great sense of toning. His deviations mostly have a tonal range like his Autumn Imagination Series holds a green tint. This whole series is a fave of mine and its tint always refreshes me. But my fave from his gallery is his vector art, which shows the possibilities of his talent. Here:

Kadi (k-d as it goes) is a varied artist. Lets call her pleasure artist who draws for the love of it, not coz for it's a need. It's a free falling and the freedom is quite visible in her works. I personally think she can do great digital works, if she ever tries. This is my fave out of her gallery:

A great friend of mine and a great digital artist, especially when it comes to the templates and web interfaces. Look at this work and you will know his talent:

:iconminami:

Minami is Jennifer Fed and is from Wisconsin. Once again she is a pleasure artist, drawing for fun and life, that's what I guess. Majority of artists at devaintart is of those who draw for pleasure of it and these are the artists who appreciate art in its real sense. Well my thanks to them all for being there. Here is what I like in minami's gallery:

:iconk-hallowseve:

The best thing about hallowseve is that she always answers back her comments and even the ones at other artists' pages. Even if you give a "omg..nice" kinda comment, you can be sure that she will reply back. Even I do the same and the result had been some really really long convos between me and her. Lol. I like that human touch in her. As an artist she mostly does line art with pencils but I like her id and the tone of the work. Here:

Drazac draws fantasy figures in pencils, though his gallery consists only three works. I believe he has a love for demons and the dark side of the forces. I wish he brings more works to his gallery. Here is what I like in his gallery

Alicia has just turned 1000, in fact I got her 1000th pageview. That's a feeling in itself. She is an urban photographer with themes varying from different ideas. But there is one snap of a painting in her gallery. I wonder if she did it herself, it's a good one. Here take a look:

Hate is literary artist with many poems and prose works in her gallery. Some lines by her are great. Like

"I guess you had found me at my most vulnerable.
You probably don't know that,
I've always seemed tough."  from "Shy"

My fave is this one out of her masochist series:

Comrade masochist pt. 4
Comrade- Masochist pt. 4I couldn't believe it when I heard,
That Charlie had killed himself.
Growing up together, I remember,
That he liked to hurt himself.
Like the time he pierced his nose,
With a safety pin.
He never hurt another,
He only hurt himself.
It would sometimes get repulsive,
When he'd slam his head against a shelf.
One time, I remember,
When we were hanging out,
Taking sewing needles, and-
Shoving them in his neck.
So in a way I'm not suprised.
That he'd start himself on fire.

Natasha is from the heart of Russia: Moscow. She is a portrait artist and her gallery is full of portraits. She has a raw style of doing portraits and one can see some harsh lines in her works. My fave from her large gallery is this one:.

As the time is passing me by, its getting harder and harder to keep up the pace of an easy lover. Ive already lagged behind in my race with friends lists but im trying to keep it up and this is my next step towards the goal of chronicles. These are my friends in watch list from 70 to 85…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconmeow360: Meow360
She is a very good friend of mine. I met her and themisskitty the same day and suddenly I had two cat friends… lol. When I submit something, I always know that she will drop her comments for sure and if the work is good, she will fave it too. She is a pencil artist herself and she is good at it and at times she writes poetry too. Actually she has kept a balance in her written and drawn works. But my fave from her gallery is this photograph. Don't know why, but I like it:
Breakfast For Two
www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:icontunaferit: Tunaferit

Who doesn't know him? If you are a pencil artist and you don't know Tuna, then you don't deserve to be a pencil artist. Im self taught artist and I never learnt anything from anyone. But by looking at his works Im learning. Sometimes I open one of his deviations and keep looking at it for long time, I keep studying every single inch of his work, every single detail. I openly admit that ive taken him as my first teacher, though he doesn't know about it. But more then that I appreciate his human nature. Every once in a while he comes to my gallery and leaves a hi, hello message… how many of those established artists do that? I cant thank him enough. I haven't faved his works, coz im going to buy them one day, when I have enough money, and that will be my homage to my teacher. There is no point in selecting one work out of his gallery for every single work is a marvel. Still I love

Crazy War

www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconlauranimemadness: lauranimemadness
A variable artist, as the gallery is full of different works and so many colors are there to be enjoyed. Every single work is different from other one and they have abstract themes. Mostly there are cartoons:  a jolly artist I must say. But my fave is this work. I wonder how it was made, there are three of these works in the gallery but this one looks the best to me:
Rainbow SWOOSH
www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconjothepsycho: jothepsycho

She has a mixture of comical and pencil works. Looking at her gallery I can see the talent inside her trying to break loose. If she works a little bit more on her pencil works, she can certainly come out with great works, coz she has got an eye for catching themes for example her work Zambia has a bold portrayal. Somehow I feel she leaves her works unfinished. There is a raw quality to them.my fave is this portrait by her which has some bold lines and strokes of pencil:

Model
www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconburningrage: burningrage
burningrage is 14 and her name is Hannah and that's all I know about her. Her oage says that she is a general writer but there is no deviation in her gallery. I wonder who she is…!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconmanje: manje

My Maldives friend who has just shifted to a new job and is busy settling there. Once I had note conversation with her and I came to know her personality which is a mix of jolly, caring and an open minded girl. She is a pencil artist of artistic themes. Her works are bold and speak a lot with their vivid themes. My fave is her latest portrait which is again very bold. Notice the shading done by cross lines in the background at upper left corner:

Vogue lady
www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconlydibugg: lydibugg
Its time for Lydia, a pencil artist. Her gallery has a few works but one can see her eye for many talents. The works are few but they are all good and represent her skills for her. I like her pencil sketches for sure. For example I like this her work JESS AND LAUREL. It would have looked even better if it was scanned… Other then that this beautiful portrait is my fave in her gallery:
aye aye kaptun!! This is a looong story of two companions on board.. kaptun Doug and his skipper Spongebobbyrock Squarepencils. They went for a venture in de see, and are still there. They have been missing purty lasses of the lands. Kaptun Doug is a photographer and keeps clickin his camera with his hook.. ha ha a little story of me and Mustane… we always talk like that.. the see language…. And the skipper likes the kaptun swell, this is his fave work:
:iconevenstar13: evenstar13
She is a pencil artist from Netherlands and her gallery has some great works to be appreciated. Her works are always in a dark tone and have proper backgrounds. She is specially very good at hair, I must flowing hair… one can have some good time in her gallery and my fave is this work by her:
+ Mischa Barton
www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:icongummyleen: gummyleen

She is from Malaysia. She does pencil works as well as digital works. In her portraits one can find some anime looks and I personally think that she is good at anime portrayal. Some of her digital works, which are wallpapers I guess, are also good. I certainly would like to see some digital anime works by her. This is my fave in her gallery:

Xabi Alonso - Liverpool FC
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconasiat: AsiaT
funny avatar..eh? lol, her gallery starts by pencil works of high merit and then shifts to photographs. Looking at her earlier works I wonder why isn't she drawing more of them!! I mean look at the work that I have suggested below and look at the great details. I wish we can have some more of such variety.
Jennifer Connelly
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconfigmentum: figmentum

He is from Istanbul and is a pencil artist of different themes. I guess he can draw almost anything in pencils. Just go to his gallery and you will find many different works of great variety. I really appreciate his figure skills. He has a special way of drawing figures and uses a definite style to bring them to life. This is my fave in his gallery:

:icontalentclub: talentclub

It's the club where I operate along with Hemimorphite. The club works for the Unrecognized Talented artists who are lost in the oblivions of DA. Its growing very fast and has got some great artist as its members. The club watches all its members so it's a watch here in my list. For more detail you can visit the homepage of the club.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconfastback73: fastback73
A great pencil artist with the skills of drawing great figures and faces. He writes too and writes as great as he draws with pencil. His portraits are drawn in a bright shade of pencils which is different from other pencil friends of mine, who draw in dark shades (even I draw in darker shades). His skills in drawing of hair are unmatched… Here is an example:
:iconthemightylaur: themightylaur
Talented artist in the mediums of pencil and colors. Laura's speciality, to me, is her definite style of raw strokes. Her work are distinguished by their tone and traditional looks. Some of her works are simply amazing and one wonders… is it drawn? Is it painted? Well hats off to such talent… here let her make you wonder by her skills:
Dance Triptych 1
:iconaghbris: aghbris
Alejandro Dumashenko, a very skilled artist in pencil world. One of the finest in my friends list. I guess his portrait of Che Guvera is the best I have ever seen and other works are also amazing. I love the way he has drawn all those great works in great tonal ranges and their feel is so capturing. I feel awe for such an artis. Lately he has done some works in digital media and they also show a promising hand.
Im having a feeling of lagging behind in the race of chronicles. I started from writing my first watch, and have written about 52 of them. This one is about watch 53 to 69. I have made it a point to write about 16 consecutive watches. Next chronicle will be about the friends from 70 to 85, and so it will continue till I exist….
He is the guy from Saskatchewan, Canada; Regina actually. He is a photographer and clicks snaps as if they were works of art. Lithp is such an artist whose digital works are almost Traditional. Las Vegas dude! His gallery has various categories and areas covered. Anime, pencil figures, digital, vectors etc… I must say his digital works are really inspiring.. That's melike. In her avatar you can see me and her lying together.. lol. She is also from Turkey, Istanbul actually. She draws with pencils and also paints at times. She is my comrade as she comes from India, though she is based in New Jersy. She is a very friendly spirit and its always a good talking to her, though its beena long time that I had a talk with her. Her works have their themes from Indian roots and some works are of other varying degrees. My fave in her gallery is the Greek sculpture drawn in pencil:
:iconlemner: Lemner
She is from Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. Her gallery has anime, portraits and colored pencils in work. Some of them are really great. I wonder if she speaks and knows English coz all her works are in her native tongue. My fave outta her gallery is this anime work:
:iconforest-elf000: forest-elf000
Who is forest-elf? Well she is the elf lurking in shadows, just 13, from Minnesota, who watches lots of movies and hears lots of music. She is a photographer on the move. Go to her gallery and you will see many of America's landscapes. My fave is the metro train moving fast in a station:
Subway 2
:icondarksummit: darksummit
Well Marc is the guy who occasionally makes his presence felt by commenting and faving my works. His comments are always a welcome. I like his avatar, though I never understood what exactly it is. He is a digital painter and a good one. Some of his works are astonishing. I really wish that I could do digital works of his magnitude. Go to his gallery for some satisfying pleasure, strictly recommended:
This metalhead male is from Turkey and he is deep into metal and underground music. The best of his works are CD covers and fan-art of metal bands. The graphics used in them are always damn good and they always define the band they are used for. Recently he has gone into "support jark" campaign and has done quite a number of works for the issue. But frankly I like him for his earlier works…
:icongeonox: Geonox
Met him at Thumbshare and we chatted for some good time. He is a photographer basically but at times he comes out with some really good digital works. I like this recent work of his where he has drawn Lara Croft. I like the traditional touch of it.. really a great work of art:
oye hoye!! We have same mother tongue "Punjabi" though he is grounded at Bahrain. He is the first guy with whom I talked in Punjabi and man how I longed for it. Mostly I find him at Thumbshare. He is a nice guy, I mean really nice. He is an architectural photographer, but at times he comes out with 3D works. I like the buildings he has been clicking and its always a moment of joy, whenever we chat. This is my fave outta his gallery. Watch out people, its 3D art:
Its joe. Joe from St. Louis, and he is a traditional artist (that's what his profile says), though his gallery has lots of photographs and quite a number of them are of himself in there. Some of them are very nifty and catch your eye in a second. Here check it out, I like the concept of this work:
She is the child born outeth tradition and she be walketh towards light. Lo and behold! For she seeketh enlightenment. I be her holy ghost, the recruit of divinity. Alexandra Sandberg, is from Sweden and is quite young. She is the one who left DA and came back. Her gallery doesn't have many works but they are all high on quality. Some works show the deep talent she has inside her. I really admire her manipulation skills and the themes she can put in them. For example look at this work…
:iconanythingbutdown: AnythingButDown
She is a pencil artist like me, better then me I must say. I really cherish hanging around in her gallery. All of her works are so well drawn, dark and clean, full of mystery and aesthetic themes. If I start telling about her best works, it will be a long list and I will never be able to do justice to her. You have to see it for yourself. How I wish I had those emotions in my works when I draw.
Gone are the days when i knew every single friend that watched me, now that my watch has increased considerably, i feel lost here. I still reply every single comment, still i thank every fave and still i love my friends. Yet, i have been unable to do justice to most of them. To help things out, once in a month i visit everyone's gallery and fave my likings and give watches to the ones i like. Moreover the work load has risen coz now i along with Hemimorphite(the soul of the club) control the submissions at talentclub the club for the unrecognised talented artists. Well here i am now with fourth chronicle and i have tried to cover 16 of my consecutive friends in the increasing order:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconlucatedde: LucaTedde

A male traditional(pencil) artist from Italy. He has talent in his hands which clearly shows in the WIP that he has submitted at his account. Every single work by him deserves a fave and comments. My personal liking in his gallery is the portrait of LIV TYLER. You people must have seen other same portraits for sure, but this one speaks louder to me for i love the straight show of the pencil. Its pure genius at work here. My admirations go all to him. Just see it for yourself.

liv tyler

:iconunrequited0ne: Unrequited0ne

Unrequited is a male general artist from States. His gallery is full of flowers and railway tracks of various colours and shapes. I like railway tracks more. I personally dont know much about him honestly, but a friend is a friend!! here is my fave deviation by him:

:iconkaryaazure: karyaazure

One fine day i went to chatrooms (and that was first time that i went to chat on DevArt), i decided to go to Thumbshare and started chatting. Result was a whole day of chatting there. Kary told me the TAB thingie and after sometime took me to a secret place (i call it matrix thing lol) and featured my Tommy Gun Portrait at thumbshare and also made me a member on my first day... hell!! I fell in love with thumbshare coz of her. Kary is generally a photographer(generally coz she has lots to do at thumbshare) and a good one too. I love the friendly spirit she carries with her. What a wonderful world she has in her gallery. This work squared is white and black and is sort of techy. I like straight lines and this one is Squared...

Squared

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:icontransparancy: Transparancy
She is from Norway and is an art student at work to draw immense beauties. She in one word is GIFTED. Her works are of all sorts, but they all show an intelligence of aesthetics at work. You will find various themes in her gallery which are so different from each others. Aliens, hands, skeletons and portraits of varying degree. Somehow i guess she likes fantasy works. The darker side of those supernatural worlds, though with a tinge of science-fiction. Here is a sea-horse portrait named school...wonder why she called it so:
school
www.deviantart.com/deviation/2…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconxtuv: xtuv

xtuv has an eye for photographs, whether they be colored or B&W. This Netherlands based artists gallery is full of industrial structures, natural landscapes, personal, bridges etc, all filmed from out-landish yet artistic angels. He may see some beauty in something that we maynt. I would have gone for the "Umbrella Man III" but i loved the way the clouds have come out in the suggested work. I had never seen such a beauty. Check it out in full-view, to explore the whole glory of this work:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconkiwisaftdesign: KiwisaftDEsign
grott draws emoticons, clicks snaps, and loves water, for there is so much water in his works. Met him at Thumbshare, and he proved to be a good friend, though he has been out of contact for some time lately. He is based in Germany and has got photographic talent. This work is great and can be called to be from a series of photos. The name is highly deceiving as you will come out with a smile when you will look at it. Dont beleive me, go see for yourself:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconccapone116: cCapone116

cCapone116 is a real beauty herself, and so are her works. She is a self-proclaimed genius and i guess she is so. Loves to draw fractal art in white and bright backgrounds, unlike other fractal artists, who use black as background. Though the work im suggesting here is not a fractal art, but the lady's red hair. I liked the touch of the red in this all black colored work. See:

red hair
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconxlizax: xLizax
Met her at Thumbshare We talked and talked a lot. She is obsessed with her eyes*in a friendly tone* and why shouldnt she be? they are beautiful. Her works are mostly full of her eyes and her own. I love the dark ones. Lately she has been out of contact, dont know why!! Hey Liz get in contact man. This work is a recent deviation by her. I like the grey tone of the work for sure. Check it out people:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconolevia: Olevia

She is my fave teach :rofl: I know olevia you will be angry at this, but you know im your hun and a hun can call a hun anything....(what am i saying! hun!!). We met at Thumbshare to say. Me, xLizax and Olevia chatted for quite sometime. It was fun. Olevia is into fractal art and she can chat and draw simultaneously...isnt dat gr8 hun!! So as a result she comes out with lots of works once in while. This work of hers that im mentioning here is really good. I like the way it has come out. Nice fractal art:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconhemimorphite: Hemimorphite
A painter of colors, and an amazing one too. If there is one thing i had never been good at, is painting, and she is on my wishlist. Hemimorphite is also a co-operator with me, or must i say im a co-operater with her (as ive already mentioned!) at submission department at :icontalentclub:. She is very supportive to be precise. Her soul is dedicated to bring talented artists to fame and recognition. Respect :pray:. As i said she is a painter, i never meant that she is not good at other traditional works, for example this work that ive suggested here is my fave from the begining, is a pencil work and a good one too. Check it out:
The Spiral
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconmakermeeter: MakerMeeter

A very good friend of mine. When i say vey good, it means god damn good. We had often watched our backs *winks*. Makermeeter and me became friends when we i cme to know of his problem of misspellings. He has large fingers and mostly he pushes the wrong buttons and comes out with humorous passages. I like him for his honesty and straightforward approach. On the other hand as a photographer i admire his ability to name his his works in beautuiful ways. He is almost gifted with naming his works. Check out his works at:

the unseen hue of light
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconzoesobel: zoesobel
Great artist of traditional works. Her deviations include human figures that show her interests in human anatomy. May be we can see some human figures in detail in future. The work that ive suggested here also makes the base of her avatar. I love the expression of this nymphetic lady in portrait. Ten out of ten for great sketching and shading. No comments...just check it out:
j'adore dior
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconserendipity04: serendipity04

Well what can i say about serendipity!! Just go to her gallery and go thru the works and you will come out impressed. Her hand is good in portraits and pencils and so it also good at computer. The work here proves that she is also good at colours. I was dumbfounded to see this work of hers. You have to see yourself to beleive it. I adore this piece:

Adriana Lima
www.deviantart.com/deviation/8…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconthepencilclub: ThePencilClub
The best club on the earth for the pencil artists. I dont remember how i got there, maybe it was at jundam's page that i found the link. Anyways, its been great at the club. They have featured artists, daily 5 submissions and contests too. This is a great club for sure and people here are very friendly. They dont think twice before faving a work or giving a watch. It is easily most crowded place on DevArt. Bless those people who run this place.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:iconfused0001: Fused0001

Nice avatar, isnt it? A guy from States, who has five works submitted till now and they are all good. The choice was limited and tough as all of them are very good. I choose the WINDOW. It has an eye in it, and how true!! the eye is our window to the world. Just loved it so much:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
:iconbdec: bdec
A very friendly guy from Canada. He is the one who can give you numerous hugs and Thank yous. This quality of his humbleness has made me admire him a lot. He is also devolping as an artist. Especially this work by him, that im suggesting here, is a wonderful piece of coloured sketches. Even the theme is a winner here. Just loved the jaw of the dragon. Thou shal cheketh it out:
Friends, welcome to the third chronicle. Every single issue is getting upgraded i guess. Here im going to add another feature: a link to my fave deviation of the friend im talking about, so that others can go and see it. Another feature will be a list of the friends who were featured in my last chronicles. This list will be in the end of the journal with their relative avatars. One request to all of you artists is that if you want to comment back(what the hell...of course u will) then comment on this journal only, so that everyone else can see it. Dont send notes and dont leave them on my pageview please. Read on:
steevaehn  :iconsteevaehn:
i wonder if he knows English coz ive tried many times to contact him but he never responded. He is from Buenos Aires and is a cartoonist; mostly exotic. He has a vibrant gallery of exotic females. Apart from that he is a master of playing with shades, black and white. My fave from his deviations is also a drawing of such velocity -chica sin city. One of his deviatins is Spiderman(which i beleive is unfinished). Dont know much about him coz all his comments are in his mother tongue. So, maybe he'll never understand what i wrote for him. But anyways....he is my friend:
Chica Sin City
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…;
xXBeautifulDeathXx  :iconxxbeautifuldeathxx:
Death, Horrror and thrill in a flavored dose of sketches. As the name signifies this quite young artist is into death and gore. Seems like Canada is following the American steps in this case. But she has her own individuality. Her work -Apple Skull- is a wonderful creation of gore. I keep submitting portraits but the truth is that i draw skulls and bones too, and i love them too, and Death is the side that i would like to kick. Her latest deviation -Elizabethan- also deserves a mention here....uuuhm to know what it is, one has to see it and i personally ask you guys do it right now. Still my fave of her deviation gallery is -Edward- from the movie Edward Scissorshand. So its the Johny boy. This portrait is riminicent of Depps early period (though now we know him as a Pirate). The details of the work are amazing.....look at the scars and the X-Ray photosheet of the hand in the background. Well u have to see it for yourself:
Edward
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
eisadia-didi  :iconeisadia-didi:
Eisadia is a female....she draws horses and lots of other subjects but her fave pastime is having healthy discussions with :devtequilla-makita: :rofl:.....and that too on my journals......lol. Okay lets get serious. She is an Australian pencil artist and is quite young to be an artist, so her future, for sure is bright. By the time she'll be of my age, she will be a celebrated artist. My fave deviation of her is -Moonlit Mare- and i wonder why she doesnt make it her featured deviation! Im not really into animal drawings but some artists on devart are good at them and she is one of them...
Moonlit Mare FINAL
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
Nearia  :iconnearia:
First of all she is God Damn Beautiful...just take a look at her avatar, now dont you beleive me!! Well she is from Germany and is a pencil artist as most of my friends are. In all her works eyes are always the most prominent part. They are always sketched in high contrast, i wonder if she does it knowingly or if it is one of those in-born capacities to give details to various likings!! Lately she's been suffering from Exams trauma and its not really her fault that she writes with Left hand (i do the same). One thing more: she doesnt believe that im an alien. My liking out of her works is -Nicole Kidman- which is basically a close up of the beauty.
Nicole Kidman
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
a-strange-loop  :icona-strange-loop:
Shwami loves flowers and even his lava compositions look like flowers. He calls himself a deviant of many talents but i like the photographer inside him. His work has a touch of sophistication which one can observe in his leaning flowers. He is my fellow countryman and im proud of him. My fave out of his works is -In The Days of Caveman- which is a satirical devid. I just loved his imagination in this piece. Okay here is a clew: its his CT scan guide. Now take a look at it:
In The Days of The Caveman
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
technohoot  :icontechnohoot:
I wonder why she calls herself MayDragon!! Dont go for the name, this Californian lass, who has a beautiful avatar, is married to greenarmani and has a beautiful way to sign her deviations. This is best reflected in her deviation which is also my fave -Shania Twain-. the deviation features Twain in her jolly mood. Her lips have been drawn in such a beauty!! Her hair,eyes and eye lashes are done with an inguinity of the higher order and down in the left corner are her signatures...i persume!! Go and check it out:
Shania Twain
www.deviantart.com/deviation/5…;
tormented-dreamer  :icontormented-dreamer:
Ah! scary and open ended worlds, how they enchant us. Ive talked about the gore artists who draw the worlds of eerieness, but the visual medium always travels faster then the non-visual...what im pointng at now is the world of writings. Tormented-Dreamer, a female of quite a young age, writes down these feelings of fear and horror. Its always hard to create such an imagery to let the reader visualise the world that he may have never seen, but i promise you that Tormented dreamer does it very effectively. One can see the touch of the horror in her poem -Incarnated Corpse-. But let me provide you a sample of her writings. These are some of her lines:
The choice is yours; you can dispose of her body like you did her heart (from Incarnated Corpse)
The blood permanently tainted on your skin (from Incarnated Corpse)
No one will believe you, when you say that you're insane (from Tales of A Victim)
Incarnated Corpse
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
microlux  :iconmicrolux:
Is it a coincidence or what? Most the deviants ive been talking about are no more then 18 and she is no exception. She calls herself a comment addict, but i think she is jack of all trades.Mostly she draws faces but not in conventional manner. Her faces are freehand renderings which are given a flavour of many a different colors so that her gallery becomes a panorma of varied art. My fave of her deviation is -katie jane-, who to me seems like straight out of a scary movie!! A wonderstruck lass.
katie jane
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
chou-ai  :iconchou-ai:
Who is chou-ai? A reporter, a reviewer, a generous favorite provider or just a watcher? Chou-ai is a mystery to me coz I never heard of her again. I don't know her personally but I believe she enjoys art in silence, more like an implicit practice. She is a welcome. Off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush once again. She hasnt published any deviation till now, so the space goes empty.
allshadesofgrey  :iconallshadesofgrey:
Lee E. Williams. One of great traditional artists. She draws portraits with pencil but recently she started doing experiments with digital softwares to come out with renewed versions of her prevoius works. I've been having long discussions with her on her journals(said that, im sure that she has realised by now that she has made a mistake by making me a friend!! :rofl:). The discussions go on for quite a length till one of the two drops dead. As an artist i count her as a celebrated artist to whom people listen and follow. My fave deviation out of her gallery is -blonde- with a small b, coz thats how it is. This one is a beauty, and its my younger sisters fave too. Here go and see it:
blonde.
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
jundam :iconjundam:
I knew him from a long time. When he gave me a watch i remembered his avatar (his fave movie is?.....yes Matrix)and i felt happy that people i admired are liking my art too. He has come out to be very friendly guy and these days he is busy in writing his first anniversary journal as on 26th May he has completed his first year on DevArt. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY jundam. :party: His work contains a lot of diversity. look at his works like sin city inspired, dock ock, bad girl and jean reno and you will notice that all of these works use a different technique from the previous. Yet my fave is -Sad Chester-. The link follows:
Sad Chester
www.deviantart.com/deviation/9…
badboy69 :iconbadboy69:
His name is Danijel and he is from Ljubljana, Slovenija. He is a general digital photographer, actually he is more then that. He is into digital wallpapers and he is good, though some of his work he has produced in collaboration. I like his deviation -Last Anomly- which has been done in a vague authenticity. He is relatively new to DevArt and he has a long way to go for sure. Here is his another collaboration:
Annihilation Collaboration
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
EternalTraveler :iconeternaltraveler:
EternalTraveler may cause slight skin irritation, atleast thats what he says. As a painter he is great, though there are some photos in his gallery, noticably -chinese lion-. His works like -Fly Away- are great and have a raw appeal. My fave out of his gallery is -sleeping alice- which seems to me like a pun on Alice; a satire. That pink exaggerated blush on her cheek is humorous. The Link:
sleeping alice
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
bazin :iconbazin:
Bazik mutant yaratik aka Bazin is very new on devart, is deviously deviant, has a stock account, has submitted only two deviations till now. Thats all i could get out of him. Here is the link to his work:
Edward Norton
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
AinhoaOrtez :iconainhoaortez:
Wow another great traditional artist in the catagory of portraits and figures who is actually good at figures of human kind. All of her deviations are wonderful. They belong to different traits and genres yet they have an inguinity that makes them aesthetically pleasing. Her gallery is small but good, less in quantity but high on quality. my fave outta her gallery is -piercing- which describes a male figure in all its bloom. The intricate details are exuberantly drawn and it is something that you would cherish after seeing:
piercing
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
kizgoth :iconkizgoth:
Kizgoth is a self proclaimed genius. She has submitted art in many genres. I wonder what she really is? A photographer or a poetess; or perhaps both of them. though her gallery has some beautiful photos (one is -whats that?-) but my fave out of her gallery is a poem called -Night Time Singing- including lines:
Houses sewn,
And ripped at the seams,
Golden halo,
Silver wings.
Night Time Singing
www.deviantart.com/deviation/1…
Thats for the third chronicle. I hope all of you people will get to know each other and will try to make your stay over DevArt a memorable experience. And i want to say thanks to all of you for being there and for standing by me. Especially to the friends who joined me in my early times. Thank you all from the core of my heart and you are all appreciated.
Good day and night to all of you.
I would call it a chronicle for it states the history of my friends. The second chronicle was supposed to start from ~lizarts but in the first chronicle I wrote a less fervent note about the newcomers but now they are not new anymore so im writing about them here:
TeQuila-Makita  :icontequila-makita:
I know I know that I have already written about makita but I owe this one. Why? Well you see sometimes the style of language one uses confuses the reader in knowing if the person is a male or female. That's what happened here. I thought Makita was a cool dude but it happened so that Makita turned out to be an icy gal. He….sorry SHE told me in a whisper that SHE is a girl and that happened after I had addressed various notes and comments to her. I say sorry to you again Makita for rushing in too fast. I know its nothing big but still…..(and oh yeah she has some really nice hair). One thing that ive found about her is that she is mostly the first one to comment on my any given deviation (I wonder if she sleeps on keyboard) no matter when I post it! And the word she mostly uses is FUNNY. I also happen to believe that she is lucky for me. One should read her signatures i. e. the lines down below the comment.
mediatot  :iconmediatot:
Who is mediatot? A reporter, a reviewer, a generous favorite provider or just a watcher? Mediatot had been a mystery to me from the beginning as I never heard of him/her again. I don't know the person but I believe he/she enjoys art in silence, more like an implicit practice. He/She is a welcome. Off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush once again.
Y-LIME  :icony-lime:
There are pencil artists who draw faces and are always sketching more and more of them and never fluctuate to the other parts of the body and surroundings (one filthy example is myself) and yet there are others who can draw anything and anything at all, and the best example is Y-lime. Y-lime is a greater artist of pencil and works in an entirely different dimension. His work is astonishing, once you enter in his gallery you can not leave without having experienced a different world of pencil works. For my favorite or must I say, crush and wish, is his deviation -ground guides- where a fighter jet is taking off from a warship (I guess) and is being guided by ground crew. Look at the dust spreading out, look at the control tower in the background, look at the guides reflective stripes, look at the wind shield of the fighter. What beauty, what a creative genius, and to do that all with pencil!!! I cant explain it any further, there are no words for his work. You have to see it to believe and I strongly recommend Y-lime for all the pencil artists. His pencil is mightier then the pen and the sword.
Elven-38-Stone  :iconelven-38-stone:
Pencil artist of the plains. I really like this name: creates a vision of road and a milestone, 38 written on it.m She has a beautiful profile right there on her front page. one will find many faces of the known world: Mortensen for example. I dont know but i have always felt a sadist feeling in the portraits. They are all so deep in the thoughts of longing. Almost a far away touch of a long journey and such a long journey.
Niennatje  :iconniennatje:
Dont know much about her but she has beautiful eyes for sure and they are my favorite too. In the beginning we shared some notes and I found out that she has interest in art as a subject. She enlightened my mind with her knowledge about art and related trivia. Thanks for the names Nien. Most of her gallery, I guess I can say it, is autobiographical.
lizarts  :iconlizarts:
She has got a sweet baby of three who thinks of herself to be of ten. She wont let Lizarts sleep at nights and that is going for three years now. Being a mother is tough gentlemen and to make a good job of it is even tougher. One cant do it unless one loves it and Liz loves it for sure and it is reflected in her avatar invariably. Then again she is an artist of pencil sketches and comments on good work. It is this quality of authenticity and artistic balance, which adverse criticism tends to describe variously as detachment and verbosity, that is treasurable quality of lizarts.
Beautiful101  :iconbeautiful101:
Angelina Ballerina: her nick name I presume and I presume her to be of the same beauty as of her name, and thats on 101. She is a photographer and has ingenuity to her favor. She loves to make friends as far and wide. There is one thing that I know about her personally and that is that she responds after a long-long time. =) I remember I sent her a note when I was born and she replied after my marriage. lol. Yes, but she always apologizes and that is the modesty im talking about.
tuchten  :icontuchten:
DevArt works on strange principles. Here sometimes even the best art is not appreciated and sometimes even a glitch becomes a hit. I guess that's reasoned to chance and luck. Now, my talking about this refers to this guy tucten whose work surpasses quite an excellence but his deviations (superbly conceived) aren't a hit that they deserve. Simply put, most of his art deserves faves and stars but I guess people on Devart are yet to give him what he deserves. For me he is a greatly skilled artist. His creations are gore, fantastic and are pure work of imagination. He has been inactive for sometime and personally would like to see more of him. He has a way to go and he will get there at the top, and when he does, ill be there standing with him saying that I predicted it. Its just a matter of time.
She is certainly out of clouds and is being loved!!! My friends for most are pencil artists and she is no exception. Personally I like her deviation of John Mayer with his hair drawn with a great zeal and for a keen eye the sleeves of the pullover are drawn in a vivid taste. Even Johny is a good one. I don't know much about her but I know that she is always there and its always good to have someone watching over you out of clouds. :hug:
Lord of the scraps; that's what comes to my mind when I think of him. He keeps submitting his deviations in scrap category and he is the second person after RockY14, cause of whom my watch folder suffers from overhaul. But dont let the title confuse you, for the deviations that he submits are not scraps. His gallery is incredibly inviting as it consists of some really great free hand renderings. There are supernatural and fantastic heroes, or villains perhaps, who cherish me every time I see them. I always wonder what the stories behind these creations are. What are their powers and how they got them! I wish to see his sketch book once in my mortal life. He is a very friendly spirit and replies instantly. His username is also very inviting. I always wonder what it means!! My word for Xero is -Wonder-
All of you must be knowing many artists who are good at drawing human faces and figures, I know them too but the one im talking about now is a person who is great at drawing faces and figures, not of humans, but of animals. Go to his gallery and you will see some really stunning art in pencil which depicts the animal life including quite a range. Its wonderful to think of drawing such immaculate beauties and by experience all of you must be knowing how tough it is to draw animal life. And I ask myself what beauties he must be able to embellish to the human faces. Lots of roars to you Adm
California love! The regular gal from California (I wonder if that qualifies her to be called a regular) whose life history could be found in her deviation gallery, in the shape of photographs she has taken over the time. They are almost autobiographical. I have seen most of them and I believe one just cant stop admiring the vitality of life in this jovial spirit, living in her wonderful years. I fear her as she asks me to live unto her hopes. After all thats what she told me in his first comment. I love having such friends as cagurl who expect you to do fine. In one word they MOTIVATE.
She said: Im not used to such complements. What do u like in my art? And there I found a friend!! Later I found that she has eyes for details. When I submitted –Tommy Gun Portrait- she came out with most intimate corrections about my work which could only be noticed if someone watches with keen eyes. Moreover the way she puts your faults before you is and art itself. You cant help but admire her honesty and commitment. That someone with so much fervor for details is my friend, is surely a self pleasing notion. Hats off to Smith!!! As an artist she is a photographer of things that we dont see: like the reflections in the glass. This is the age of critical assassins and she is an angel.
This will sum up my second chronicle and im happy that there was a second one. =) I already have some new friends but it will be a little too early for writing about them. So lets wait for wheels of time to turn to the right moment. Till then, good day and good night to all of you…my friends.
