IMPORTANT: I have received some notes saying that some artists that I have talked about in my previous journals are not really that great as I speak for them. I want to make a point clear that my chronicles are not about "great artists" but everyone who watches me. I started from my first watcher and have been writing about them continuously and will keep writing as long as I can. For me it's a way to say thanks to them for watching me.

:bulletgreen:New year came and :icontunaferit: Tunaferit gave me a subscription for a gift. I was shocked and amazed to see that. Getting a subscription from the Pencil lord is something you don't get everyday. Im obliged by this human too good to be true. Frankly speaking im short on words and there is no way I can say what I want to say. Just a simple Thanks to tuna from the core of my heart. Let there be more artists like him.

EIGHTH CHRONICLE

:bulletgreen:Here comes the next chronicle aptly named as "The Interlude" for I rarely submitted any work in last few months. I was taking a break I guess, who knows!! I have already written about first 106 of my friends here at deviantart and now im moving ahead from 106 to 126. Im about to cross 500 and im lagging behind a lot, lets just hope I stay alive to say something for everyone.

Chaz from League City is a great friend to be around. From the times she became a friend, she keeps commenting occasionally and i wish to kill her someday with my cars and bikes (are you dead yet Chaz?). As an artist she has a large gallery and it consists the whole wide world. Recently she has been coming out with new mods for DA, which I wish I will be able to enjoy one day. Here is a very nice snap from her gallery, I have always loved it.

wyreks

Wyreks is from Poland and to me he seems a funny guy as his gallery is full of humor. One cant help but laugh at certain snap shots in his gallery. But he has these two works which contain images of various deviants from devart and it's not an easy effort for sure. Way to go man. Here see if you are one of them:

Nicole is from Canada and is a professional artist (pro as I call her). She is one of the nicest people I have met at DA. She occasionally comments but whenevr she does that, she brings an air of love with her. Its not important to be in constant connection all the time, but to be nice and she is a wonderful heart. As an artist she is no less. Her gallery is full of amazing works. Apart from her rock paintings, I have always loved this work for its great background shading:

tornglass

Tornglass is a mature photographer with a complete control on his camera. His shots are fairly simple but you cant help but notice his genius as its reflected some great works. Give him a camera to observe and he can come out with amazing results for his camera sees what most of us cant. Look at this one, Im enchanted by this deviation and what a title:

:iconnirvanakenshin:
NirvanaKenshin

NirvanaKenshin is the lost boy from united States. He is a photographer of almost everything. Friends, surroundings, concerts, light bulbs… everything. Sometimes he also draws with hiss pencils. So all in all I see him as a varied artist. And from his gallery I like this work and its title:

City of Sticks

Ranajay Das is from my country i.e. India, but lives in Singapore. But that's not the only reason that I like RDX and definitely not coz he loves to suck blades..!! I appreciate rdx as an artist for he has many shades to him: Winamp skins, photographs, poetry and traditional works. All of his works are superb quality wise. Look at this beautiful wallpaper which stayed at my desktop for quite sometime.

Olga Efimkina is for olgi from Germany. She is strictly a Traditional artist who works equally well with pencils and colors. There are 52 works in her gallery and all of them are at the par at quality level. Cherry by her stays my fave from the gallery for it shows her great skills at erasers… This work is more then what it seams.

A pencil artist (very talented), very good at human anatomy. Lets say a rather exotic gallery he has. There are exotic babes posing in some great shapes and sizes in his gallery. And then there are photographs of him with his friends. For sometime he has been away from the DA worlds, but now he has promised to come back with a bang. I like this work in his gallery which is a pencil portrait from the movie Sin City:

:iconpapuz:
papuz

Papuz is a great traditional artist with great skills in paintings and dry colors. There are a few traditional works in his gallery but they are awesome. Especially his dev id is just awesome. But to feature here I have selected this another work by him which shows his grasp at traditional skills:

:iconsilwena: silwena

Another exotica artist, but with attention to details. Its Silwena and she draws in colors and such beauties flow from her hands. Her works are so soft, so delicate, so light on air. Those light shades, vibrant colors and beauties all at one place. But I have chosen rather a dark work by her and it's a beauty:

Extremely talented artist! Curry's gallery is one of the most vibrant galleries I have ever seen on DevArt. She has a special and individual style that I haven't seen in any other artist. Her works are random, with abstract backgrounds and have a comic feel to them, yet they are so realistic. Just look at this one and full view to know what I mean:

Rista is equally good at pencil and digital works. His gallery is full of illustrations which clearly project his approach towards aesthetics of art and what it stands for. Lately he has matured in pencils and just take a look at this work by him and see how detailed he can be. There is more to this artist then what meets the eye:

:iconmorrow:
morrow

Morrow is from Porto, Portugal but is in Brussels, Belgium for he is studying there for one year. He is more of a figure artist with some abstract themes fleshed in. Most of his works are done in light shaded pencils and they surely catch the eye. Some snapshots are also there. For my fave I would go for this Mixed Media deviation which comes with bold contrasts:

Sensuality

:iconmadette:
Madette

Madette from Philippines is a traditional artist of sorts and works in various mediums including pencils and colors. I strongly believe that she can come with outstanding results in pencil portraits for she is good at shading and her works clearly project her understanding of aesthetics of shades. Look at this one for that matter:

Lestat

:icongwendoline:
Gwendoline

Stephi is from Germany and what a wonderful artist she is. I really find myself helpless when it comes to define her style. At times she is a simply a traditional artist and at times she is surreal in her approach and yet some of her works are pure fun. Just look at this work by her and wonder what thoughts went into the making of this…. marvel:

Kristine Reynolds is the name and pencils are game. Wonder how I came with that line but that's what came to my mind when I ventured in her gallery. Most of her works are light hearted drawings which impart joy to the heart. This one reminds me of Cinderella:

She is 17 and is from Georgia. She is a casual drawing artist and draws for fun I believe. I really don't know her so I really cant say much about her. Just that I enjoyed going to her gallery and here is my fave- A rose for valentine:

Nemi is Frida and is 17 years old and that's all I know about her. She is one of those artist who sit silently and watch over others. Thanks for being a friend Frida.

:iconsithness:
sithness

Amazing artist from Singapore. She has only seven works in her gallery but these seven works are a lot better then hundreds of works by artists like me. Attention to detail is incredible and the way she draws is just miraculous. She draws in such defining strokes that rarely her works need any shading. Just look at her works and you will see that she rarely uses shading as her medium, its those nifty touches that give her art a cult defining throne.

A huge club run by Frank :iconbushdog: Bushdog which basically submits the nude stock art in its galleries. The club has huge statistics and it's a heaven for stock artists. One of the most hep clubs at DA.
